In my own world i have 2 64x64 quarries (I use powerconverters to get BC power out water pumps) I have all the advanced machines in my IC2factory, a Nether power plant with scrap generation and mass fabrication (powered with lava) A solar roof-> fibre cables -> MFSU that's working fine. Soon i will make a sorting system.
The only thing that isn't working on my world is Minefactory..
